...but it sure adds a whole lot of awful.


Don't get me wrong, this Termagant doesn't look great in person. But it does look considerably better than this.

Anyway. When I paint the rest of his bretheren, I think I'll forgo the heavy drybrushing. I'm happy with the color scheme (inspired by the local heavy-lift aircraft roaches), but the mottled-y-ness of the drybrushing is distracting.

There's got to be a better way to get more convincing results.
